University of Chicago Writing Teacher Training 

Fall 2014: Completed the course Principles of Teaching Writing (ENGL 50300) in order to be qualified to teach advanced courses on academic writing and rhetoric in the Writing Program at the University of Chicago.  

Language Teaching

2010-2011: Spanish teacher at International Language Institute, Northampton, MA. Taught Spanish (speaking, reading and writing) to adult learners.

2009-2010: ELL (English as a Learned Language) teacher at EF Education First. Taught classes on college-level writing to English language learners at EF Education First, one of the largest international programs for language education and cultural exchange.

2008: ELL teacher at Ajb’atz’ Enlace Quiche ́. Taught English at a non-profit organization located in the highlands of Guatemala specializing in bringing technology and educational resources to rural communities.
